The Christowitz Report: Nick Gives Up

by Nicholas Christowitz

Hey! I’m back.

We’ve decided to change things up here a bit. The rants were a whole lot of fun for me, but we’ve decided to lay them to rest before they become unbearably stale. Nas has told me I’m not a completely incompetent writer, so with that gold star stuck so proudly to my forehead, I will continue to do a Christowitz Report every Friday. Only this time I’ll have no main theme or style. I’m going to write about anything that comes to mind and I guess we’ll see soon enough if anyone cares. Her music career started in 2010 with her debut album Geidi Primes, which, strangely enough, was released on cassette tape. In 2012 she was picked up by British label 4AD after her successful tour with Lykke Li, who she opened for stateside. This year she released her third album Oblivion, which has been met with great success. I think you should get to know her a little better, so let’s all get ensnared in her dream pop.
