Nokia got 3 South African DJs to remix the good ol’ Nokia ringtone. We all know it (sorry if it’s playing back in your head right now), and we’ve all heard the many variations (the acoustic one was my personal favorite, until now), but you haven’t heard the 5 second melody like this before.
There have only been 2 DJs that have had their remixes put up so far. Another-Day favorite, Das Kapital, killed it with his remix here, completely deconstructing the ringtone and making something so ordinary into something so pleasantly unexpected, and DJ Kenzhero gave his remixes here, creating 3 variations that would get you dancing every time your phone rings. You can download them for free to set as your new ringtone, so that’ll save you the trouble of sitting for hours deciding what the next funky/groovy tune will be to impress your friends.
