The Christowitz Report: I Love Something

So last week the boys behind Another-Day sent me a mail with the subject “We have our first real hater!!!”. I was so excited I almost puked. Finally, I thought, we’d made it big. My rant had been seen by someone outside of my friendship circle and had spawned a reaction! Maybe from an overseas reader! Maybe someone famous! ‘Prometheus’ is all about Your Genitals [Review]

So the way the Greek myth goes, Prometheus is the guy who stole fire from the gods and gave it to mankind. It would be foolish to assume director Ridley Scott (Blade Runner, Gladiator) could pull off something similar, handing Hollywood a flaming 3D beacon of “This Is How You Do It, guys”, but with this sort-of-but-yeah-totally-prequel to his 1979 film Alien, he damn well tries. Reviews are coming in steaming hot or colder than your nipples on a Jo’burg day in June, and I can totally see why. So far there’s been some pretty cool marketing going on for Ridley Scott’s new sort-of-but-not-really Alien prequel, Prometheus. This latest one, though, warms all the parts of my body that respond positively to Michael Fassbender. He’s playing the android David and this one’s a sort of commercial for The Weyland Corporation’s latest version of David; an ad we likely won’t see in the movie. The clip follows after the jump.
